Hmmm, this may come as a shock to you but chances are the band's not getting back together. Jeff disappeared three years ago while doing one of the concerts for Harvey Danger. There was a letter threatening the band and they were pretty much forced to split up because of it. They had made a few cds but they haven't since then. Right now Sean's busy being a father anyway, might as well congratulate him for that, the kid's about two now and Sean has his hands full. Jeff is still being looked for by the police and Evan who was Jeff's best friend at the time went through a bit of an insane stage but he and Aaron are out in the world making music again. Aaron is now in a german heavy metal band called Dirmsk you should look them up they're not bad. Evan is still rocking though, he was in a band called Eternities Rant 2 years ago but I'm not sure what he's doing now. Since you don't seem to know much about Harvey Danger, let me fill you in. Sean Nelson, the lead singer, performed with the Clash in the late '70s, and early 80's. After that he had several bands including Harvey Danger. HD put together 10 records or so, and were recently put on the Rolling Stone's "greatest" 200 album list. You may have heard of the cd, it was called "the Jazz singer." Sean Nelson is now 55, and lives with his daughter. In the wake of Jeff’s disappearance, Sean has quit music altogether. | view post |
